KARL HALL SENTENCED IN HULL FOR THREATS AND VIOLENCE AGAINST EX-GIRLFRIEND
Karl Hall, a 41-year-old man from Lowther Street in west Hull, has faced serious allegations involving threatening and abusive behavior towards his former partner.Court reports detail that Hall admitted to committing an affray on September 18 and sending a threatening message on August 28.
The incidents reportedly occurred after Hall suspected his partner of infidelity, which led to him becoming highly aggressive.
During the confrontation, Hall allegedly threatened to physically harm her and destroy her property.
Hull Crown Court was told that he threatened to murder her, shouted abuse, and warned her that he would send videos of himself engaging in sex with other women.
He also threatened to demolish her house within ten minutes, and made further threats against her car and belongings.
Hall indicated he would take pictures with other women and send them to her, along with additional violent threats.
Prosecutor Jazmine Lee highlighted Hall’s extensive criminal history, which includes 46 previous offenses such as assault and property crimes.
She explained that Hall was the leader of a group involved in a violent affray, during which objects were thrown and vehicles damaged — one of which struck the victim.
Lee emphasized that the victim feels fearful and frustrated due to the ongoing threats and violent behavior.
In sentencing, Hall received a 16-month suspended prison term, alongside 150 hours of unpaid work, 20 days of rehabilitation, and participation in a Building Better Relationships programme.
He was also subject to a seven-year restraining order designed to keep him away from the victim.
Mitigating lawyer Cathy Kioko-Gilligan noted that most of Hall’s offenses occurred shortly after his relationship ended and pointed out that he had spent nearly two months in custody prior to sentencing.
Hall has acknowledged his behavior and expressed intentions of returning to his previous job in curtain walling.
His criminal record, which includes assault and property-related crimes over the past decade, underscores the seriousness of his threats and violent actions against his former partner.
