KAMIL PITYNSKI FROM WISBECH JAILED FOR CHILD ABUSE IMAGES IN HORRIFIC CASE

In a disturbing case that has shocked the community of Wisbech, Kamil Pitynski, a 28-year-old resident of Rose Fair Close, was found to possess an alarming collection of indecent images of children, including some depicting the most severe forms of abuse involving babies. The investigation into Pitynski’s activities was initiated after authorities traced uploads of illegal images to his online accounts across three different platforms.

Law enforcement officials executed a search warrant at Pitynski’s home in Wisbech, where they uncovered substantial evidence linking him to the distribution and possession of these illicit materials. During the search, officers seized multiple devices, notably two laptops, which were later examined for digital evidence. The analysis revealed that Pitynski’s devices contained a staggering total of 290,085 indecent images of children, among which 4,521 were classified as Category A, indicating the most severe level of abuse.

The severity of the material found was deeply troubling, with some images showing babies being raped, tortured, and subjected to other forms of abuse. This discovery prompted immediate legal action, and Pitynski was arrested on suspicion of possessing and distributing child abuse images. During police interviews, he admitted that such images would be found on his devices, claiming that he had viewed them out of curiosity, specifically on the dark web. Despite this admission, he denied involvement in forums or chat groups related to indecent images, and he insisted he had not distributed or received such images via email.

Nevertheless, the evidence against him was overwhelming. Last month, Pitynski pleaded guilty to possessing a prohibited image of a child and to three counts of making indecent images of children. His guilty plea led to a sentencing hearing at Peterborough Crown Court, which took place on Monday, September 27. The court sentenced him to ten months in prison, reflecting the gravity of his offenses.

In addition to his imprisonment, Pitynski was subjected to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) that will remain in effect for ten years. This order is designed to monitor his future conduct and prevent any potential harm, ensuring that he remains under strict supervision to protect the community from any further risk. The case has once again highlighted the ongoing threat posed by individuals involved in the possession and distribution of child abuse images, and the importance of vigilant law enforcement efforts to combat such heinous crimes.
