A man has been sentenced after being convicted of threats related to revealing revenge porn involving a woman in Witney.
Kameron Decena, aged 27, faced trial at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on April 22, charged with threatening to reveal private sexual photographs and videos with the intent to upset and cause distress.
He had previously pleaded not guilty at the same court on December 7 of the previous year.
Although he entered a not guilty plea, Decena was guilty of threatening to share revenge porn against a woman whose identity remains protected for legal reasons, as of April 4.
Decena, from Lancaster Place, Carterton, was given a sentence on May 21, 2024, consisting of a community order that includes five rehabilitation sessions and 80 hours of unpaid work.
A program requirement was also assigned, and a restraining order was put in place to prevent further contact.
