A west Oxfordshire sex offender has been found guilty of raping a woman on Valentine's Day.
Brassington, 47, of Queens Road, Carterton, was on trial for two counts of rape and two of assault by penetration.
Brassington, had denied the charges, but a jury found him guilty at Oxford Crown Court on Thursday, August 28.
The jury previously heard that Brassington offered the woman drugs for free in exchange for being in a relationship with him.
It was heard that Brassington and the woman had sex and that he took her for drives in his car and locked the doors.
A statement provided by PC Edward Lee, who spoke to the woman in hospital, was read out to the jury.
The statement said: "I attended the John Radcliffe Hospital after paramedics raised concerns about a female.
She was very shy and did not appear comfortable to speak to us at first.
She explained she met a man called Brassington who is a drug dealer.
She approached him to buy drugs in January.
He let her have drugs for free but expected a relationship with her.
She said she didn't want to have sex with him, but that she wanted drugs from him.
She said she was scared of him.
He would turn up unannounced at her home." The statement added: "She said Brassington choked her and had inserted cocaine into her bum." Brassington will be sentenced at Oxford Crown Court on October 29.
