KADIR KADIR CAUGHT PERFORMING SEX ACT NEAR HOTSPUR PRIMARY SCHOOL IN HEATON, NEWCASTLE

In April 2017, a disturbing incident occurred in the Heaton area of Newcastle involving Kadir Kadir, a man who engaged in highly inappropriate behavior in broad daylight near a busy primary school. The incident took place just yards from Hotspur Primary School, located on South View West, where approximately 60 children aged four and five were playing in the schoolyard at the time.

According to reports, Kadir was observed sitting in his vehicle, a yellow car, with his shorts pulled down and engaging in a sex act while watching pornography on his phone. The vehicle was parked merely four meters from the perimeter of the school playground, which was filled with children enjoying their morning activities. The witness, a passer-by, was walking along the street when she noticed the vehicle and, upon passing, saw Kadir staring into the school grounds. As she approached, she looked down and was horrified to see him performing the act.

The witness was so shocked that she exclaimed, “Oh my God,” and immediately reported the incident to both the school authorities and the police. The witness described the vehicle as being parked with the driver’s side closest to the curb, which was nearest to the playground. She further stated that she saw Kadir with his trousers down, performing a sex act, and that he appeared to realize he was being observed, as he quickly apologized before driving away from the scene.

Police officers responded swiftly, locating Kadir approximately 15 minutes later on Shields Road, in Byker. Kadir, a 33-year-old married man and father of two, was taken into custody. During his police interview, he admitted to the behavior, explaining that he was under stress and had found a quiet spot to watch porn on his phone, claiming that his location was unrelated to the children playing nearby. He expressed remorse and embarrassment over his actions.

At the time of the incident, Kadir was working as a pizza delivery driver for Domino’s Pizza, although he was not on duty when the offense occurred. His address was identified as Clive Place, Byker. The court heard that the incident took place on February 6, at around 9:30 a.m., during which the children were engaged in play and exploration in the schoolyard.

In court, Kadir pleaded guilty to one count of outraging public decency. The magistrates, after reviewing the case, decided to adjourn sentencing to allow for the preparation of a pre-sentence report. They warned that Kadir, a Bulgarian national, could face imprisonment. However, during a hearing at North Tyneside Magistrates’ Court on the following Thursday, Kadir was sentenced to a 24-month community order, fined £50, and ordered to pay costs. Additionally, he was mandated to complete 50 days of a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement to address his behavior.

Prosecutor Lee Poppett detailed the events, emphasizing that the incident occurred outside Hotspur Primary School, which is situated on South View West in Heaton. He described how the witness, walking along the street, observed the children playing and noticed the yellow vehicle parked close to the playground. As she approached, she saw Kadir in the driver’s seat, performing a sex act, and was visibly shocked. The police were called immediately, and Kadir was arrested shortly thereafter. His wife was present in court to support him during the proceedings.

This case highlights the serious nature of public decency offenses and the importance of safeguarding children from exposure to such inappropriate behavior. Kadir Kadir’s actions have been met with condemnation, and the legal process has resulted in a community order, reflecting the gravity of his misconduct.
