JUD GREEN SENTENCED TO 16 YEARS FOR SHOCKING SEXUAL AND VIOLENT CRIMES IN LINCOLN

A man identified as Jud Green has been sentenced to a substantial prison term of 16 years after being convicted of a series of heinous sexual and violent offenses carried out in Lincoln. The sentencing followed a thorough trial at Lincoln Crown Court, during which Green was found guilty on multiple serious charges, including two counts of rape, sexual assault, causing grievous bodily harm with intent, and false imprisonment.

Green, who is 34 years old, was not only handed this lengthy prison sentence but also received an extended period of six years on licence, which will keep him under supervision even after his release from incarceration. The court’s judgment reflects the severe nature of his crimes and the impact they have had on his victims.

Lincolnshire Police, through their detective inspector Lee Nixon, described Green’s crimes as “horrific” and emphasized the seriousness of his actions. According to police reports, Green was a transient individual with no fixed address at the time of his arrest. His criminal behavior came to light after a woman stepped forward in December 2022, revealing that Green had physically assaulted her, sexually assaulted her, and raped her. This disclosure prompted a police investigation that ultimately led to his arrest.

During the period when Green was out on bail, authorities received a second disturbing complaint from another woman. She reported that Green had assaulted her as well, inflicting a broken jaw in the process. This second assault further escalated the severity of his case, leading to his re-arrest and subsequent remand into custody. The charges against him were formally brought before the court, and he faced a series of allegations regarding violent and sexual conduct.

Despite denying most of the charges during his trial, Green chose to admit to some lesser offenses, including criminal damage and intentional strangulation. However, he continued to deny the more serious accusations, such as the rapes and grievous bodily harm.

After the trial concluded, judge’s sentencing at Lincoln Crown Court reaffirmed the gravity of Green’s misconduct. In commenting on the case, Det Insp Lee Nixon expressed a strong sense of justice being served, stating, “Jud Green has been brought to justice after carrying out these horrific crimes.” Nixon also highlighted Green’s apparent lack of remorse, remarking, “He has never shown remorse for the harm he caused to the victims.”

The police officer paid tribute to the victims, emphasizing their remarkable bravery in coming forward and providing critical evidence that secured Green’s conviction. Nixon praised their “incredible courage,” acknowledging that their testimonies were vital to the successful outcome of the case.
