JOSHUA HOBBS FROM BATH SENTENCED FOR DISTRIBUTING INDECENT PHOTOGRAPHS TO CHILDREN
In July 2018, Joshua Hobbs, a 19-year-old resident of Bath, was involved in a disturbing case involving the distribution of indecent photographs. The incident took place at the Bath Foyer on Dominion Road, where Hobbs was found to have shared explicit images of his own genitalia with a minor.The court proceedings resulted in a community order being imposed on Hobbs, reflecting the seriousness of his actions. Additionally, a restraining order was issued to prevent any contact between Hobbs and the victim, ensuring their safety and peace of mind.
As part of the sentencing, Hobbs was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £85, along with costs amounting to another £85. These measures are intended to support the victim and cover legal expenses associated with the case.
