MAN JAILED FOR STALKING AND BREACH OF RESTRAINING ORDER
A man from Longhedge has been sentenced to two years in prison for stalking and for violating a restraining order.Josh Clift, 31, of Davies Road, appeared at Salisbury Crown Court on June 4 where he pleaded guilty to charges of stalking, breaching a restraining order, and sharing an intimate photograph or video of someone.
His relentless messages to the victim led to the issuance of a non-molestation order.
After he broke this order, a restraining order was also granted.
Clift then breached this second order, leading to his conviction earlier in the year.
In February, Clift sent multiple threatening and abusive messages daily to his victim.
He also circulated a video of her in an intimate setting, which caused her significant distress.
Even after the victim blocked him on some platforms, Clift managed to continue making contact through other online channels.
