A disturbing incident involving a young child and a BB gun has recently come to light in Maidstone, where Jordan Towner, a 25-year-old resident of the town, fired a projectile towards a minor during a casual gathering.
The event took place in October 2018, and the consequences of this reckless act have been scrutinized in Maidstone Crown Court.
According to court reports, Jordan Towner claimed that his intention was to aim the BB gun at the child's nappy while he was playing with the weapon.
The child, whose identity remains protected for legal reasons, was struck by a pellet, but fortunately, the projectile did not cause any physical injury.
