JORDAN MRUK FROM PEMBROKE DOCK SENTENCED FOR UNDERAGE SEX WITH 14-YEAR-OLD GIRL
In a case that has shocked the community of Pembroke Dock, Jordan Lee Mruk, aged 19, has been sentenced to 28 months in prison after admitting to engaging in sexual activity with a 14-year-old girl during the year 2016.The incident was brought to light when the girl’s mother discovered concerning entries on her Facebook account, prompting an investigation that ultimately led to Mruk’s arrest and prosecution.
During the proceedings at Swansea Crown Court, it was revealed that the girl involved was reluctant to cooperate with authorities in the case.
Despite her lack of willingness to assist, law enforcement officials were able to gather sufficient evidence against Mruk through digital footprints and online communications.
Prosecutor Francis Jones explained that Mruk had openly boasted about his actions over the internet, which significantly contributed to the case’s strength.
Mruk, who was present in court, admitted to having sexual relations with the minor in 2016.
His legal representative, barrister John Hipkin, argued that the sexual encounter was consensual and that Mruk was aware of the girl’s age at the time.

Judge Walters also highlighted the findings of a probation officer’s report, which suggested that Mruk was close to being classified as a dangerous offender.
While he stopped short of making that designation, the judge warned Mruk that any future offenses of this nature could establish a pattern of dangerous behavior.
The court made it clear that protecting children from exploitation and harm remains a priority, and that the courts must sometimes intervene to safeguard minors from their own actions or those of others.
