JORDAN MCGRATH FROM TONBRIDGE JAILED FOR SEX OFFENCES IN ROCHESTER AND DANGEROUS DRIVING IN HIGHAM

In a case that has shocked the local community, Jordan McGrath, a resident of Tonbridge, has been sentenced to five years in prison after being convicted of multiple serious offences involving young girls in Rochester.

The crimes, which spanned from 2014 to 2016, included a total of 12 sex offences committed against three young girls.

These offences encompassed three counts of rape, an attempted rape, and two sexual assaults, all carried out within the Rochester area.

Following his arrest, McGrath was released on bail to allow law enforcement officials to gather further evidence and strengthen their case against him.

However, during this period, he engaged in a dangerous and reckless pursuit that posed a significant threat to public safety.

The incident began on Strood High Street and culminated in Forge Lane, Higham, in October.

During the chase, McGrath drove on the wrong side of the road, ran a red light, and reached speeds of up to 80 miles per hour in a zone with a 40 mph speed limit.

McGrath-Coulstock, aged 20 and residing on Northwood Road, admitted to dangerous driving and driving while disqualified.

Despite denying all allegations related to the sexual offences against the children, he was found guilty after a trial held at Maidstone Crown Court.

The court's decision resulted in a five-year imprisonment sentence, which was handed down on the Monday following the verdict.

Throughout the proceedings, the case highlighted the disturbing nature of the offences and the reckless behavior exhibited by McGrath, raising concerns about community safety and the protection of vulnerable children in the Rochester and Tonbridge areas.
