EVIL CHILD RAPIST WHO FILMED HIS OWN ATROCITIES CAGED AFTER THREE-YEAR REIGN OF TERROR
A depraved predator who subjected a vulnerable teenage girl to years of horrific rape, violence and humiliation before filming some of his own crimes has been locked up after a judge declared the case was "one of the very worst" he had ever seen.Jordan Frankland admitted raping the child over a period spanning more than three years, carrying out repeated oral, anal and vaginal rapes while inflicting violence so extreme it placed her life in danger.
The High Court in Glasgow heard Frankland was between 16 and 20 years old during the abuse, while his victim was just 13 to 16 years old.
His sustained campaign of abuse took place in homes, public places and even on the urine-soaked floor of train toilets.
The court heard Frankland preyed on the vulnerable child while she was so intoxicated she drifted in and out of consciousness.
He throttled her, pulled her by the hair, restrained her, covered her mouth, struck her across the head and body and repeatedly compressed her neck, restricting her breathing as he raped her.
In one chilling attack, Frankland told the terrified teenager he was going to rape her before dragging her into an alleyway and carrying out the assault.
When she told him she was scared, his chilling response was: "Good, you should be." On the girl's 15th birthday, Frankland held her down before raping her, sexually assaulting her with a sex toy, slapping her and pulling her hair throughout the ordeal.
The court also heard Frankland filmed some of the attacks himself.
Police recovered videos showing the young victim crying while drifting in and out of sleep through intoxication as Frankland sexually assaulted her.
During the footage, he repeatedly slapped the child while calling her degrading names including "slut" and "whore", telling her "you're drunk you little slut" before mocking her tears and repeatedly ordering her to "keep crying." The final attack took place in a wooded area, where the child screamed that she thought she was going to pass out as Frankland forced himself upon her.
Lord Arthurson described the offending as "one of the very worst cases of rape" he had ever been required to sentence.
The judge said Frankland had repeatedly targeted a highly vulnerable child, subjected her to degrading, sadistic violence, filmed some of the rapes and left her with trauma she will carry for the rest of her life.
The court heard Frankland already had eight groups of previous convictions, had served three prison sentences and was already subject to six separate bail orders while committing the offences.
Risk assessments concluded he presents a chronic and severe risk of future violent offending, with no meaningful protective factors identified outside of custody.
Frankland was handed an 18-year extended sentence, comprising 10 years behind bars followed by eight years under strict licence supervision after his release.
He will remain on the Sex Offenders Register indefinitely and has also been made subject to an indefinite non-harassment order, permanently banning him from contacting his victim.
Passing sentence, Lord Arthurson said the only reason an even longer custodial term was not imposed was because of sentencing guidelines relating to Frankland's age.

Lord Arthurson made these remarks after hearing of the harrowing ordeal Jordan Frankland put a teenage girl through.
The crimes, carried out during a three-year campaign of abuse, included the 22-year-old filming himself raping the vulnerable victim.
Frankland is behind bars after he admitted repeatedly attacking the girl between October 1, 2020, and December 4, 2023, with incidents in Clydebank and the North of Glasgow.
The girl, who had a troubled background, was first raped when she was 13.
Prosecutor Eilidh Robertson described how Frankland came into a room she was in, demanded sex, and pushed her onto a bed.
He also seized her by the throat, slapped her, pulled her hair, and sometimes left her with bruises or scratches.
On one occasion, he pulled her into an alley and told her she should be scared.
The girl was also assaulted after they met in Kelvingrove Park, and other incidents involved a train.
Video evidence from March 2023 showed him calling her "a s**t" and slapping her cheek as she cried, telling her to "Shut your f***ing mouth." She has no memory of the sexual encounter in that footage.
Further assaults occurred in a forest in Old Kilpatrick after she agreed to meet him in late 2023, during which he pushed her to the ground and continued to assault her despite her screams and fears of passing out.
Frankland had previously been subject to six different bail orders.
Judge Lord Arthurson said this is one of the worst cases of rape he has ever dealt with and will take a cautious approach in sentencing, with the defendant returning to court next month.
