In June 2019, a member of the Coldstream Guards, Jordan Davies, whose roots trace back to Pwllheli, faced serious criminal charges related to the sexual exploitation of underage girls in North Wales. The case revealed disturbing details about Davies's misconduct, which ultimately led to his conviction and sentencing.According to court proceedings, Davies, aged 19 at the time, engaged in inappropriate and illegal activities involving two 14-year-old girls.
