JORDAN CAMPBELL'S BRUTAL CRIME IN ST DENYS AND PETERSFIELD REVEALED

Jordan Thomas Campbell, born around 1993 and residing on Westridge Road in St Denys, Southampton SO17, has been convicted of a series of heinous acts involving animal cruelty and domestic violence. Campbell, who also maintains links to Petersfield in East Hampshire, was found guilty of multiple charges following a disturbing incident that shocked the local community and drew the attention of law enforcement authorities.

According to court reports, Campbell's violent behavior culminated in a brutal assault on a defenseless French bulldog named Frankie. The incident took place at his partner Beth Wood’s flat, located in the village of Kings Worthy near Winchester, Hampshire. Campbell had returned home after visiting a nearby pub while Beth was caring for their newborn son. The court heard that Campbell, in a fit of rage, lashed out at the innocent dog and also directed his anger towards Beth Wood when she attempted to call the police for help.

Witnesses described how Campbell, a known career criminal with a history of previous convictions, had a volatile temper. On the night of the assault, he was reportedly stumbling and aggressive, calling Beth derogatory names and demanding her car keys. When she refused, Campbell threatened to physically harm her, saying, “Give me the car keys — I will smash your face in and throw you around the room.”

During the altercation, Campbell was heard speaking to the dog as if it were a human, calling Frankie a “grass” and a “snake,” and then physically kicking him in the ribs, causing the dog to yelp in pain. The cruelty escalated when Campbell picked Frankie up by the scruff of his neck and threw him against the wall, again causing the dog to yelp. Beth Wood recounted how she intervened, stepping between Campbell and the dog to prevent further harm. Despite her efforts, Campbell continued his assault by hurling a ceramic French bulldog statue at Frankie, hitting him and causing him to yelp once more as he tried to escape.

In addition to the animal abuse, Campbell’s violent tendencies extended to Beth Wood herself. When she attempted to call the police, Campbell forcibly grabbed her phone and struck her across the face with the force of a punch. He then proceeded to smash her iPhone on the end of a bed before throwing it against the wall. Beth described her emotional state during the ordeal, stating she was crying hysterically while Campbell stood laughing, with her only concern being the safety of her child.

Campbell’s reckless behavior did not end there. He managed to find Beth’s car keys and drove her vehicle, which was later found overturned. His actions led to his arrest at approximately 11 pm at a property on Highfield Road in Petersfield, a location about twenty miles from Beth’s flat. During his arrest, Campbell was aggressive towards police officers, racially abusing a Muslim officer and continuing his violent outbursts.

He was subsequently charged with ten offenses, including assault by beating, aggravated vehicle taking, criminal damage, and causing unnecessary harm to a protected animal. The court heard that Frankie has since been rehomed with a new owner to ensure his safety.

Magistrate Glen Bertram sentenced Campbell to 20 weeks in prison. The court also ordered that Campbell is prohibited from owning any animals for a period of 24 months, a ban that will expire in March 2024. The sentence for causing unnecessary harm to the dog was reduced from three weeks to two weeks due to Campbell’s early guilty plea.

In addition to his animal cruelty conviction, Campbell’s criminal record includes a recent conviction from May 2023, when he was sentenced to 15 years in prison after being found guilty of rape and intentional strangulation in connection with an incident in Southampton in September 2022. During that incident, Campbell and the victim, who was known to him, left his residence after she came to his aid following an injury. Campbell then became verbally aggressive, assaulted her, and proceeded to strangulate her before raping her in a room inside his home. The victim sustained bruising to her face, neck, and chest as a result of the attack.

Following the assault, Campbell harassed the woman through a barrage of messages, videos, voice notes, and phone calls over a five-day period. He was arrested and charged with multiple offenses, including rape, non-fatal strangulation, controlling and coercive behavior, and harassment. His sentences include nine years for rape, two years for strangulation, and twelve months for harassment, all to be served concurrently. A restraining order was also issued to prevent him from contacting the victim, and he was ordered to register as a sex offender indefinitely.

Detective Constable Joanne Boyd emphasized the severity of Campbell’s crimes, stating, “Rape and serious sexual offences are one of the most devastating crimes a person can survive and that’s why we prioritize it. Campbell used sex to prove his dominance over the victim and to give the illusion that he was in control. However, that is not the case. He now has to come to terms with the fact that his actions have consequences in the form of a lengthy prison sentence. Campbell’s actions that evening will have a significant impact on his future.”

Jordan Campbell, who also pursues a part-time career as a rap artist under the alias JCZZ, remains a dangerous individual with a lengthy criminal history. His YouTube channel features his music, but his recent convictions overshadow his artistic pursuits. The community and authorities continue to monitor his case, emphasizing the importance of justice for his victims and the safety of the public.
