JOHNATHAN MOORE FROM LOWESTOFT SENTENCED TO NINE YEARS FOR CHILD SEX OFFENCES IN HISTORIC CASE

A man identified as Johnathan Moore, aged 34, hailing from the town of Lowestoft, has been handed down a prison sentence of nine years following his conviction on multiple serious charges related to child sexual offences. The offences, which include rape and indecent assault, were committed against a young girl during the 1990s and early 2000s, a period during which the victim was under the age of ten.

Moore’s arrest came after a thorough police investigation into allegations of abuse that had been brought forward by the victim herself. Her bravery in coming forward after many years was instrumental in bringing the case to court. The court found Moore guilty of three counts of rape, four counts of indecent assault, and two counts of gross indecency with a child.
