JOHN DOUGLAS CUNNINGTON SENTENCED IN TAMPORTH FOR SEXUAL OFFENCES AGAINST CHILD

A man from Tamworth, John Douglas Cunnington, has been handed a prison sentence of three years and two months after being convicted of serious sexual offences involving a minor. The sentencing took place at Stafford Crown Court, where the court found Cunnington guilty of multiple charges, including inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and committing sexual assault against a young boy. As part of his punishment, Cunnington, aged 34 and residing on Talland Avenue in Tamworth, will also be required to register as a sex offender for the remainder of his life, a measure designed to monitor and restrict his activities following his release from prison.
