JOHN ALLISON SENTENCED TO 14 YEARS IN PRISON FOR SEX OFFENCES IN PLYMOUTH
In a significant case that has shocked the community of Plymouth, a man named John Robert Allison, aged 54, has been handed down a severe prison sentence after being found guilty of multiple serious sex offences involving minors.The conviction was delivered at Plymouth Crown Court, where Allison was sentenced to 14 years behind bars for his crimes.
Throughout the trial, Allison maintained his innocence, denying all allegations brought against him.
Despite his protests, the jury found him guilty on a total of ten counts, which included some of the most grave offences involving children.
These counts comprised gross indecency with a child under the age of 16, as well as the rape of a girl under 16.
In addition, he was convicted of two counts of engaging in sexual acts with a young boy, and six counts of indecently assaulting a male under the age of 16.
