The incident reportedly took place at the end of a party, where the women, referred to in court as Girl A and Girl B, were engaged in a consensual sexual activity with a man. According to Girl A, Esingle entered the room uninvited and initially attempted to record the scene on his mobile phone, smiling and laughing as he did so. She recounted that Esingle had been asked twice to leave the premises but persisted in returning, despite these requests.

Girl A described how Esingle, who runs Rebreak News in Dundee, touched her on her naked buttocks while she was still engaged in intimacy with her friend and the man. She emphasized that her boundaries were repeatedly ignored, and she felt uncomfortable and violated. The court heard that Esingle, along with another man named Jordan, entered the room and continued to behave inappropriately, with Esingle attempting to record the women kissing on his phone.

When the man involved in the sexual activity told Esingle that he was not welcome and asked him to leave, Esingle's response was reportedly violent. Court testimony states that Esingle grabbed the man by the neck and strangled him for approximately two minutes, an act that has caused significant concern among the court officials and the public.

Girl A further testified that despite multiple requests for Esingle and his accomplices to leave, they refused to do so. She described how Esingle became aggressive, flipping out and screaming in her face, and how he physically touched her despite her clear objections. Her account paints a picture of a situation spiraling from unwanted intrusion to physical assault and sexual misconduct.

The trial continues later this month, with Esingle denying all allegations of sexual assault against both women. He also maintains that he did not assault the man involved.
