    Jason Jones has been charged with several sexual assault offenses involving a minor. The incident is believed to have taken place in the Handsworth area on October 4th, prompting an investigation by the Public Protection Unit. Jones, aged 49, appeared before Birmingham Magistrates Court where he was charged with two counts of rape and engaging in sexual activity with a male child under the age of 16. He was remanded in custody following the hearing.
