JASON EADE FROM FELTHAM SENTENCED TO INDEFINITE IMPRISONMENT FOR SEXUAL OFFENSES ON YOUNG GIRLS IN HOUNSLOW HEATH AND DONKEY WOOD

A man from Feltham, identified as Jason Eade, has been sentenced to an indefinite period of imprisonment following serious allegations of sexual misconduct involving two underage girls. The incident took place in the vicinity of Hounslow Heath and Donkey Wood, locations well-known within the Hounslow area. Eade, aged 31 and residing on Sparrow Farm Drive, appeared before Isleworth Crown Court on a recent Friday to face the charges that have now resulted in his lifelong registration as a sex offender and a detention order that will keep him behind bars until authorities determine he no longer poses a threat to the community.

During the court proceedings, Judge Andrew McDowall addressed Eade directly, acknowledging the defendant’s own admission of vulnerability, which was supported by a report presented during the trial. The judge stated, “I acknowledge your own vulnerability as set out in a report and it may reduce your culpability. But I am also satisfied that vulnerability increases your risk to others.” The judge emphasized that Eade’s sexual attraction to young girls was partly due to his ability to communicate with them on their level, which made him more dangerous. The court expressed concern that this vulnerability could lead to further offending and cause serious harm to others.

It was established that Eade had engaged in sexual activity with a vulnerable 15-year-old girl on multiple occasions, specifically four times during December and January. These encounters took place in the area of Hounslow Heath. Additionally, he was found to have molested a 13-year-old girl, an incident that occurred at Donkey Wood, where he also threatened to throw her into a stream. Although Eade claimed that the relationship with the older girl was consensual and that the younger girl did not ask him to stop, the court found the circumstances concerning enough to warrant a severe sentence.

In his sentencing remarks, Judge McDowall clarified that while the relationship with the 15-year-old was considered consensual, the law rightly protects individuals under 16, especially those who are particularly vulnerable. The judge pointed out that the offense involving the 13-year-old girl was committed in her presence and was accompanied by a threat, which she perceived as a serious act despite Eade’s claim that it was a joke.

Defending counsel Sophie Shotton argued that Eade’s actions were influenced by his mental age and that he had sought out individuals with similar mental capacities. She emphasized that her client was aware that his conduct was wrong, even if he did not fully recognize the vulnerability of his victims. Despite this, the court’s ruling ensures that Eade will remain under strict supervision, on license, and on the sex offenders’ register for life. The sentence reflects the gravity of his offenses and the need to protect the community from potential future harm.
