JASON EADE FROM FELTHAM SENTENCED TO INDEFINITE IMPRISONMENT FOR SEXUAL OFFENSES ON YOUNG GIRLS IN HOUNSLOW HEATH AND DONKEY WOOD

In a serious case that has shocked the Feltham community and beyond, Jason Eade, a 31-year-old man residing on Sparrow Farm Drive in Feltham, has been sentenced to an indefinite term of imprisonment following his conviction for multiple sexual offenses involving two young girls. The court proceedings took place at Isleworth Crown Court, where Eade appeared before Judge Andrew McDowall to face charges related to his inappropriate conduct towards a 15-year-old girl and her 13-year-old friend.

According to court records, Eade admitted to engaging in sexual activity with the 15-year-old girl, who was described as vulnerable, on Hounslow Heath during the months of December and January. He also confessed to molesting her younger friend at Donkey Wood, an area known locally for outdoor activities. The judge noted that Eade’s claim of using his 'low intelligence' as an excuse for his actions was considered during sentencing, but ultimately, it was determined that this vulnerability increased the risk he posed to others rather than mitigating his culpability.

During the hearing, Judge McDowall emphasized the danger Eade still presents, stating, “I acknowledge your own vulnerability as set out in a report and it may reduce your culpability. But I am also satisfied that vulnerability increases your risk to others. You were sexually attracted to young girls because you were able to communicate with them on your level. So I am satisfied there is a risk of more offending and of causing serious harm.”

It was revealed that Eade had incited the 15-year-old girl to have sex with him on four separate occasions, and the sexual molestation of her 13-year-old friend occurred in the presence of the older girl. During the incident at Donkey Wood, Eade threatened to throw the younger girl into a stream, an act he later claimed was a joke, but which the victim perceived as a serious threat.

While Eade’s defense attorney, Sophie Shotton, argued that the relationship with the older girl was consensual and that the 13-year-old had not asked him to stop, the court found the offenses particularly grave due to the girls’ vulnerability. The judge clarified that although the sexual activity with the 15-year-old was deemed consensual, the law rightly protects minors under 16, especially those who are vulnerable.

Judge McDowall sentenced Eade to an indefinite term of imprisonment, stating that he would remain detained until authorities determine he no longer poses a threat.
