PRESCOT MAN CAUGHT WITH 2,500 CHILD PORN IMAGES WALKS FREE IN COURT
A solitary individual caught with over 2,500 images of child pornography was released without prison time after being deemed not to pose a threat to minors.James Seiga was discovered in possession of both static and video files depicting children in explicit acts, with the majority classified as the least severe category.
Seiga, age 45, admitted to owning the indecent material.
His defense attorney, Theresa Lofthouse, informed Liverpool Crown Court that Seiga, residing on Hughes Avenue in Prescot, was an “inadequate gentleman” who mostly spent his days isolated, writing poetry and drinking alcohol.
His 36-week jail term was suspended for a period of 18 months.
