JAMES O’BRIEN, FORMER SOLDIER, CONVICTED IN LIVERPOOL FOR CHILD SEXUAL IMAGE OFFENSE AND FIREARM POSSESSION
James O’Brien, a 36-year-old former soldier, has been convicted in Liverpool for possessing disturbing images of children being sexually abused and for being found with live ammunition in his flat.O’Brien had downloaded numerous indecent images of children and claimed that the ammunition was a military souvenir.
He was sentenced to two years in prison, placed on the sex offenders register indefinitely, and ordered to adhere to a sexual harm prevention order.
