JAMES MOORE FROM TARBOLTON SENTENCED FOR CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE IMAGE SHARING

In a recent case heard at Ayr Sheriff Court, James Moore, a 55-year-old resident of Tarbolton, was found guilty of possessing and distributing child sexual abuse images. The court proceedings revealed that Moore had engaged in the sharing of indecent pictures over a period spanning from 2014 to 2017, specifically at Bard Drive within the village of Tarbolton.

Moore’s criminal activities extended further back, as he admitted to possessing such illicit images from as early as 2010 up until 2017. The court took a stern view of his actions, emphasizing the severity of distributing and possessing child exploitation material.

As a result of his guilty plea, Moore was sentenced to a prison term of 27 months. Additionally, he was ordered to register as a sex offender for a period of ten years, a measure intended to monitor and restrict his activities following his release from incarceration.
