URMSTON PAEDOPHILE JAMES DIPPNAL SENTENCED IN LEVENSULHUM FOR SEXUAL OFFENSES AGAINST CHILDREN

In a case that has shocked the local community, James Dippnal, a man originally from Flixton Road in Urmston, has been convicted and sentenced for heinous sexual offenses involving a young, vulnerable schoolboy. The crimes, which occurred on July 10th of the previous year, have brought to light the disturbing actions of an individual who exploited a defenseless child.

As of February 2016, Dippnal is now residing in Levenshulme, but his criminal activities in Urmston have led to a significant legal consequence. The court proceedings revealed that Dippnal, aged 41 at the time, had pleaded guilty during an earlier hearing to engaging in sexual activity with a minor. The charges included two counts of sexual activity with a child and a particularly grave offense of orally raping the young boy, a case that underscores the severity of his actions.

On Friday, February 19th, at Minshull Street Crown Court, Dippnal was handed a total sentence of three years in prison. The court's judgment specified that for the oral rape charge, he would serve two years, while the two counts of sexual activity with a child would each result in a six-month sentence. These sentences are to be served concurrently, meaning he will serve the combined sentence in a single period of incarceration.

In addition to his prison term, Dippnal is mandated to register as a sex offender for a period of ten years, a measure designed to monitor and restrict his activities post-release. The case was further emphasized by Detective Constable Sandra Callender, who stated, “This man has taken advantage of this very vulnerable young boy,” highlighting the predatory nature of the crimes and the impact on the victim.

The case serves as a stark reminder of the ongoing efforts by law enforcement to protect children from sexual exploitation and to bring offenders to justice, regardless of their location or background.
