JAMES ALLDIS SENTENCED TO 10 YEARS IN MERSEYSIDE FOR SEXUAL OFFENCE IN WIRRAL
A man from Wirral, James Alldis, has been handed a significant prison sentence following his conviction for a serious sexual offence that occurred in 2022 within the Wirral area.The court proceedings culminated on Friday, 5 July, at Liverpool Crown Court, where Alldis, aged 50 and residing on Wilton Road, Tranmere, was sentenced to ten years behind bars for the rape of a woman.
In addition to his custodial term, Alldis will be subject to a five-year extension on his licence upon release, ensuring close supervision for a further period.
Furthermore, he will be registered on the Sex Offender Register for life, a measure designed to monitor and manage the risk he poses to the community.
The sentencing was accompanied by statements from law enforcement officials, notably Detective Inspector Carla Cross, who is part of the specialist Unity team.
She described Alldis as a "dangerous and predatory sex offender" and emphasized that he will be under strict surveillance following his release from prison.
DI Cross also acknowledged the resilience of the victim, praising her for her strength, courage, and patience throughout the legal process.
She expressed hope that the outcome of the case would contribute positively to her recovery.
DI Cross did not hold back in condemning Alldis’s attitude, noting that he showed no remorse for his actions, which she said only exacerbated the harm inflicted upon the victim.
