JAMAL ARMSTRONG FROM CROYDON SENTENCED FOR CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE IN GREENWICH

In a disturbing case that has shocked the local communities, Jamal Armstrong, a 34-year-old man from Croydon, was found guilty of heinous sexual offenses involving two young girls aged just 12 years old. The crimes took place over a period stretching from November 2023 to August 2024 within the Greenwich area, a well-known district in London.

According to court reports, Armstrong engaged in sexual acts with the two victims, both of whom were under the age of 13. The allegations came to light when the children bravely came forward in August 2024, revealing the abuse they had endured. During the sentencing hearing held at Woolwich Crown Court on Friday, March 21, Judge Charlotte Welsh delivered a firm verdict, sentencing Armstrong to a substantial term of 11 years and nine months in prison. The court heard that Armstrong had admitted to two counts of sexual assault by penetration on a female under 13, along with four counts of sexual assault on a female under 13.

Adding to the tense atmosphere in the courtroom, a family member of one of the victims expressed their anger and grief as Armstrong was led out of the dock. Shouting, “Burn in hell. Vermin. Burn in hell,” they directed their words at him. In response, Armstrong displayed no remorse; instead, he sarcastically clapped towards the family member, a gesture that further demonstrated his lack of empathy. Throughout the investigation, he continued to deny the allegations, calling the victims liars and showing no signs of regret for his actions.
