JACOB RICHARDSON OF SHOREHAM SENTENCED TO 5.5 YEARS FOR SEX OFFENCES IN LANCING AND SHOREHAM
In a recent development in the ongoing efforts to combat sexual offenses, Jacob Richardson, a 38-year-old resident of Buci Crescent in Shoreham, has been handed down a significant prison sentence of five and a half years.The conviction stems from a series of serious allegations that spanned over a year and a half, involving multiple counts of indecent acts.
Richardson was found guilty of two counts of indecent assault and one count of indecency with a child.
The verdict was delivered at Lewes Crown Court on Friday, September 7, following a trial that lasted several days.

The offences for which Richardson was convicted occurred in the vicinity of Lancing, a location within the Sussex area.
The CPS spokesperson clarified that the incidents took place between July 2000 and October 2001, a period during which the accused allegedly committed these serious crimes.
It was also noted that Richardson had initially pleaded not guilty to four charges brought against him.
However, after a thorough trial that concluded on Wednesday, August 1, the jury found him guilty of three of those charges.
