JACK BREEZE FROM REDCAR SENTENCED FOR CHILD SEX OFFENCES IN TEESSIDE
In a disturbing case that has shocked the community of Redcar, Jack Breeze, aged 27, appeared before Teesside Crown Court on Monday to face charges related to a series of serious child sex offences. Breeze, who resides on Muriel Street in Redcar, admitted to engaging in inappropriate and illegal communications with what he believed to be underage girls, but who were actually undercover police officers.According to court records, the offences span over a period of time, with one of the most alarming incidents occurring on September 13 of the previous year. On that day, Breeze accessed an adult dating website and initiated contact with an individual posing as a 13-year-old girl. During their online exchanges, Breeze asked for explicit photographs, shared graphic images of himself, and engaged in sexually explicit conversations. He explicitly stated that she was “the right age to meet and have fun with,” indicating his intent to pursue a sexual encounter with someone he believed was a minor.
The prosecution, led by Joe Hedworth, detailed how Breeze also claimed to have a 12-year-old ex-girlfriend, further highlighting his disturbing mindset. The court was shown evidence of Breeze’s attempts to persuade the undercover officer to engage in sexual acts, including his desire to perform sex acts on her and his explicit requests for photographs.
In a separate incident dating back to October 2021, Breeze engaged in another conversation with someone he believed to be a 15-year-old girl. During this exchange, he made shocking statements, including his desire to impregnate her. The court heard how Breeze discussed the possibility of raping her and taking her into a wooded area for sexual assault. The conversation also involved references to another girl, aged 12, whom Breeze expressed a desire to attack in the woods.
Police investigations traced Breeze’s online activity through his IP address, leading to his arrest on November 14. The authorities acted swiftly to apprehend him after gathering sufficient evidence of his online predatory behavior.
Judge Howard Crowson sentenced Jack Breeze to 20 months in prison for his offences. Additionally, Breeze was placed under a Sexual Harm Prevention Order, which aims to restrict his future contact with minors and prevent any further harm. The case has raised serious concerns about online safety and the importance of vigilant law enforcement in protecting vulnerable children from predators operating under the guise of anonymity on the internet.
