In a disturbing case that has shocked the community of Oldham and the surrounding areas, Harry Wolfe, a 59-year-old man, has been convicted and sentenced for a series of heinous sexual offences committed against young boys.Wolfe, who worked as a mechanic, was known locally by the nickname ‘Corolla,’ a moniker derived from the car he drove at the time.
This nickname was familiar to children who played near his residence, and it became a chilling identifier linked to his predatory behavior.
During the 1990s and early 2000s, Wolfe engaged in a calculated pattern of grooming young boys by offering them alcohol and cigarettes, substances that served as tools to gain their trust and lower their inhibitions.
His method involved luring children into his home under the guise of friendship and camaraderie, only to subject them to sexual abuse once they were inside.
