A 29-YEAR-OLD man who admitted a breach of the peace charge involving his former partner has been banned from contacting her for the next 18 months at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.
Harry Bailey, of Hawthorn Road, Galashiels, pleaded guilty to repeatedly contacting the woman at a house in Burnhead Road, Hawick, between December 20 and December 22, by text message, in which he demanded quantities of money from her and uttered derogatory remarks.
In addition to the non-harassment order, he was fined £200 with a £10 victim surcharge.
