HAROLD MCCANN SENTENCED IN ASHFORD FOR MULTIPLE SEXUAL OFFENCES INVOLVING TWO YOUNG GIRLS

Harold McCann, aged 45, from Stanhope, Ashford, has been sentenced after pleading guilty to several serious sexual crimes involving two young girls. McCann admitted to charges including rape and indecent assault, with some offences dating back to the early 1990s. The court was informed that one girl was abused starting at the age of just six. He also admitted to offences against a second girl under the age of 16, committed between 2000 and 2022. The judge indicated that a lengthy prison term is probable.
