A paedophile from Carnoustie, Gregor Mackayg, aged 43, has been placed under supervision after telling police he wanted to be caught.

Mackayg attempted to erase evidence from his computer using software, but ultimately made no effort to hide his activities.

He has been ordered to register as a sex offender for the next three years and is required to participate in a sex offender rehabilitation programme.
