GORDON GAMBLE SENTENCED IN EASTBOURNE FOR HISTORIC SEXUAL ABUSE CASE

A long-standing case of sexual misconduct involving a teacher has culminated in a significant legal development, resulting in a prison sentence for the offender. Gordon Gamble, aged 64, from Eastbourne, was initially handed a relatively lenient punishment, receiving a two-year suspended sentence after being convicted of abusing a young girl. The abuse took place in the late 1960s, when the victim was between the ages of nine and 15.
