CONVICTED (2024) |George Reynolds, born c. 1944, and Georgina Reynolds, born 7 December 1966, of 159 Fords Park Road, Canning Town, London E16 1PR – kept five neglected dogs in appalling conditions. Married couple George and Georgina Reynolds both pleaded guilty to charges of animal cruelty in relation to five Staffordshire bull terriers, who were discovered in atrocious conditions. All of the dogs had significant health problems related to neglect, including substantial hair loss, flea infestation and injuries caused by fighting with other dogs. Newham Council animal welfare officers visited the couple’s home in March 2024 following calls from a concerned member of the public. The dogs were found within the home, which was covered in faeces, without any obvious access to water or food. The Reynolds lied to officers that they only had two dogs while attempting to hide three others. The dogs were seized and taken to a vet for examination. The vet stated that it was the worst case she had dealt with in her career All the dogs required extensive veterinary care to recover but were rehomed following their eventual recovery.
