BOURNAMOUTH PERVERT GARY TROWER JAILED FOR SADISTIC ONLINE THREATS AND CHILD SEXUAL OFFENSES

In a disturbing case that has sent shockwaves through the Bournemouth community, Gary Trower, a 41-year-old man from Bournemouth, was sentenced to prison after a series of heinous online threats and messages involving minors. The court proceedings revealed a pattern of predatory behavior that included impersonation, threats of violence, and disturbing sexual content.

According to court records, Trower engaged in deceptive online activities by creating fake profiles on a dating website. He pretended to be a young girl and a teenage boy, initiating conversations with vulnerable individuals. One of his victims was a 15-year-old girl from Portsmouth, who was contacted by Trower while she was in her bath. During their interaction, Trower, masquerading as a child, urged her to send a photograph of herself. She complied, but when she refused to meet him in person, Trower’s true intentions became horrifyingly clear.

He responded with a chilling message, stating, “You know, I’ll be honest with you. I’m a man pretending to be a girl. I’m not even the person in the photo. I just got that off the net. But I’m going to find you, I’m going to rape you and (another girl) then I’ll slice you both up if you don’t do one thing for me xxxx.” This message was a clear threat of violence and sexual assault, designed to intimidate and coerce the young girl.

When the girl refused to comply, Trower continued his threats, saying, “Oh it will be easy tracking your mobile. You send me a pic of you and (another girl) and I’ll leave you be.” He further added, “Honey, I’m older, I’ve been tracking mobiles for me is easy, it’s what I do, so please do that one thing xxxx.” His predatory intent was unmistakable, and his language was both threatening and manipulative.

Prosecutor Anthony Bailey highlighted the profound impact Trower’s actions had on his victims. The 15-year-old girl became so terrified that she became withdrawn and fearful of leaving her home. The court also learned that earlier in 2015, Trower had sent a similarly disturbing message to another woman, stating, “Look, I’m coming to take care of you, like rip your clothes off, rape you and then cut you up into little pieces. Do as you’re told and meet me or I’ll find you.”

In addition to these threats, Trower sent a graphic image of his genitals to the woman, further demonstrating his malicious intent. Prosecutor Bailey explained that Trower claimed to have raped several girls that year, including one he described as being only 13 years old. When the woman told him to delete her number, Trower responded with a chilling message, “she’s dead,” referring to the 13-year-old girl.

Judge Claudia Ackner sentenced Trower to two years in prison, emphasizing the severity of his actions. She described his conduct as an “onslaught of sexual sadistic vitriol,” including rape threats and threats to locate and harm his victims, which caused them to fear for their safety. Trower had previously admitted to sending grossly offensive messages related to threats of rape and other malicious communications.

It was also revealed that Trower was formerly residing on Ashley Road in Bournemouth at the time of these offenses. His conviction and subsequent imprisonment serve as a stark reminder of the dangers posed by online predators and the importance of safeguarding vulnerable individuals from such predatory behavior.
