GARY MONTGOMERY FROM HAWICK SENTENCED FOR CHILD PORNOGRAPHY OFFENSES IN SCOTLAND

A man aged 35, hailing from the town of Hawick, has been handed a significant custodial sentence after being found guilty of possessing a large collection of indecent images of children. Gary Montgomery was convicted after admitting to the possession of over 8,500 such images, which included photographs of minors in various states of nudity and engaged in sexual poses.

The court proceedings revealed that Montgomery had a troubling history of accessing and downloading child abuse material over a period spanning nearly four years.
