GARY HAYES SENTENCED IN CARDIFF FOR ABUSING FOUR CHILDREN OVER 14 YEARS

A man named Gary Hayes has been handed a lengthy prison sentence after being convicted of sexually abusing four young children.

All of his victims were under the age of 13 at the time of the abuse, which spanned over a decade.

Gary Hayes, aged 61 and residing in Taff's Well, was found guilty of multiple counts of indecent assault and sexual assault against the children.

The offences occurred over a period of 14 years, beginning in 2002, highlighting a prolonged pattern of abuse that has now come to light.

The sentencing took place at Cardiff Crown Court on Friday, July 19, where Hayes was sentenced to 16 years in prison.

In addition to his imprisonment, Hayes was subjected to lifelong sex offender notification requirements, ensuring ongoing monitoring of his activities.

Furthermore, the court imposed an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order and restraining orders to prevent any contact with his victims or further harm.
