WISBECH PAEDOPHILE FOUGO HUMBERTO SENTENCED FOR ONLINE CHILD EXPLOITATION
A Fenland man has been handed a suspended jail term after being caught online speaking to individuals he believed to be teenage girls. In April 2021, Fougo Humberto, formerly based in Wisbech, started communication with two decoys from an online child protection organization, claiming they were 12 and 13 years old. He sent inappropriate videos to one, a girl aged 12, and encouraged her to touch herself sexually. He also sent a pornographic video to the other target, a 13-year-old girl, and paid her compliments. The third victim, also claiming to be 12, received a similar explicit video from Humberto. He was detained at Bush Hill Park Railway Station in Enfield, London, on April 16, 2021, after being lured there by the decoy group. On October 17 at Peterborough Crown Court, Humberto, residing on Moor Street in Burton Upon Trent, Staffordshire, was sentenced to 15 months in prison, suspended for two years. He pleaded guilty to several charges, including attempts to engage in sexual communications with minors and inciting a child under 13 to perform sexual acts. Detective Constable Zip Lloyd said, 'Although Fougo Humberto did not physically assault anyone, his actions still posed a threat to children, and I am glad justice has been served. The effects of child abuse can be deeply damaging, and law enforcement will continue to hold offenders accountable.'
