FIONA BOND FROM COULBY NEWHAM ADMITS TO MAKING HORRIFIC CHILD ABUSE IMAGES IN MIDDLESBROUGH
In August 2019, a woman from Middlesbrough, identified as Fiona Bond, faced serious allegations related to the creation and possession of disturbing child abuse images. Bond, who resides in the Coulby Newham area, was found to have stored these illicit images on her electronic devices, raising significant concern and prompting a criminal investigation. It was revealed that Bond had downloaded the offending content in the days immediately preceding January 26 of that year. The images in question were classified as Category A, which is designated for the most severe and disturbing forms of child exploitation material. The severity of the images was underscored by the fact that some of the children depicted were as young as six months old, highlighting the heinous nature of the crimes involved.
Fiona Bond, aged 41, appeared before Teesside Magistrates’ Court on a Monday to face the charges. During the hearing, she pleaded guilty to the offence of making indecent images. The prosecution, led by Ansab Shan, confirmed that the images were discovered on her device, specifically within an application called “Mega.” The images were stored on one of her personal devices, which she had accessed and downloaded content onto in the days leading up to her arrest.
Given the gravity of the offence, the case was transferred to Teesside Crown Court for sentencing proceedings. The court has yet to set a date for the sentencing, which will determine the legal consequences Bond will face for her actions.
In the meantime, Fiona Bond was granted unconditional bail, allowing her to remain free until her next court appearance. Her case continues to attract attention due to the disturbing nature of the evidence and the serious charges she faces in connection with her activities in Coulby Newham and Middlesbrough.
