ERENEST EWA FROM ASHFORD JAILED FOR ANIMAL PORNOGRAPHY IN LONDON COURT

In a disturbing case that has shocked the community, Ernest Ewa, a 38-year-old former police officer from Ashford, was sentenced to four months in prison for possessing a disturbing collection of animal pornography. The incident came to light after authorities uncovered his illicit material, which included highly disturbing images involving animals such as horses, donkeys, and dogs.

During the court proceedings at Southwark Crown Court, Ewa was visibly distressed, sobbing uncontrollably as he was led away to serve his sentence. His actions, which he reportedly attempted to justify as a misguided attempt at humor during his time at the University of Westminster, have now resulted in serious legal consequences.

The police investigation was initiated after Ewa was reported in August of the previous year. A search of his iPhone revealed a collection of illegal images, including one depicting a child engaged in sexual activity with a donkey and another showing a woman having full sexual intercourse with a donkey. These images are considered among the most heinous forms of illegal material and are punishable under strict laws.

He faced multiple charges, including 11 counts of indecent images offences. These charges comprised one count of possession of an incident photograph or pseudo-photograph of a child, which contravenes Section 160(1), 2(A), and (3) of the Criminal Justice Act 1988. Additionally, he was charged with four counts of publishing obscene articles, in violation of Section 2(1) of the Obscene Publications Act 1959 and Section 160 of the Criminal Justice Act 1988. Furthermore, Ewa faced six counts of possession of extreme pornographic images, which are prohibited under Section 63 of the Criminal Justice and Immigration Act 2008.

It was also noted that Ewa had been dismissed from the Metropolitan Police just last month, a consequence of his actions and the ongoing investigation. As he was taken into custody, he wailed loudly, showing clear remorse or distress, before being processed and taken to the cells. The case has sparked widespread condemnation and highlights the importance of strict enforcement against such heinous crimes.
