ERICKSON PASCUAL JAILED FOR CHILD SEX OFFENCES IN FAZAKERLEY AND LIVERPOOL CITY CENTRE

On Thursday, September 21st, a man was sentenced to over four years in prison for serious child sex offences committed in Liverpool. Erickson Pascual, aged 32, whose residence is listed as Haven Road in Fazakerley, was brought before Liverpool Crown Court where he received a sentence of four years and four months behind bars.

In addition to his custodial sentence, Pascual was subjected to a series of strict legal restrictions. He was handed a 10-year restraining order, which prohibits him from approaching or contacting certain individuals, and a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order aimed at preventing further offences. Furthermore, he is mandated to register as a sex offender for the remainder of his life, ensuring ongoing monitoring of his activities.

The sentencing follows a prior court hearing in August, during which Pascual pleaded guilty to multiple child sexual offences. These included meeting a girl under the age of 16 after grooming her, possessing and creating indecent photographs of a child, and operating equipment beneath clothing of another person without their consent. These charges highlight the severity and predatory nature of his actions.

The case specifically concerns the grooming and exploitation of a 13-year-old girl whom Pascual met in Liverpool city centre. It was revealed that Pascual falsely claimed to be much younger than his actual age during their interactions. After exchanging messages, Pascual arranged to meet the young girl on several occasions. During these meetings, he purchased alcohol for her and encouraged her to engage in sexual activity, actions that are both illegal and deeply harmful.

The court's decision underscores the gravity of Pascual’s offences and the impact on the victim.
