ELANDO PARSI AND HIS SHOCKING BREACHES IN NORTHAMPTONSHIRE
A registered sex offender from Northamptonshire, identified as Elando Parsi, has been re-incarcerated after violating the terms of his sexual harm prevention order by allowing his monitoring device to become uncharged.Parsi, who previously resided in Brackley, was subject to strict conditions under the order, which was valid until August 2, 2025.
Among these conditions was the requirement to wear a Buddi Tracker at all times, a device designed to enable Northamptonshire Police to continuously monitor his whereabouts.
When the tracker was initially fitted, law enforcement officials provided Parsi with instructions on how to properly charge the device.
He was also explicitly warned about the serious consequences of failing to wear the tracker consistently.
Despite these precautions, Parsi failed to adhere to the order’s stipulations.
During the latter part of August this year, he deliberately allowed the tracker to go flat on four separate occasions, which led to his subsequent arrest.
The breach of the order was taken very seriously by police authorities.
Lead Investigator, PC Gemma Glover, commented on the case, stating, “Elando Parsi was the first individual in Northamptonshire where we successfully enforced the requirement to wear a Buddi tracker as part of his sexual harm prevention order.
His decision to neglect charging the device and let it run out of power underscores the severity of his breach.” PC Glover emphasized the importance of such measures, adding, “I am very pleased that he has been sent back to prison.
This action sends a clear and strong message to other registered sex offenders that Northamptonshire Police will not tolerate breaches of court orders.” Following his arrest, Parsi faced charges of four counts of breaching his sexual harm prevention order.
He pleaded guilty to these charges at Northampton Magistrates’ Court on August 31.
Subsequently, on October 11, he appeared at Northampton Crown Court, where he was sentenced to a term of one year and five months in prison, marking a significant enforcement of the law and a warning to others under similar restrictions.
