DWAINE SULTAN BANNED FROM CONTACTING SEX OFFENDERS IN HULL ARRESTED FOR BREACHING ORDER
In a serious development in Hull's ongoing efforts to combat sexual offenses, Dwaine Sultan, a 27-year-old sex offender with a troubling history, was recently apprehended for violating a court-imposed restriction.Sultan, who has no fixed address, was previously convicted in 2006 of four counts of indecent assault and four counts of gross indecency, leading to the issuance of a sexual offences prevention order that explicitly prohibited him from associating with other known sex offenders.
Despite these legal restrictions, Sultan was observed engaging with a known paedophile on the Great Thornton Estate in Hull on two separate occasions.
The first sighting occurred on December 17 of the previous year, and the second on February 2.
Police officers, who had previously warned Sultan twice about his conduct, spotted him in the company of the convicted sex offender during these encounters.
The situation escalated when Sultan was seen entering the residence of the known paedophile on February 17.
Recognizing the breach of his court order, law enforcement officers promptly arrested him.
During his court appearance at Hull Crown Court, Sultan admitted to violating the terms of his sexual offences prevention order.
In response to his breach, the court sentenced Sultan to a community order, which includes a requirement for 12 months of supervised probation.
This case underscores the ongoing challenges faced by authorities in ensuring compliance with court orders designed to protect the community from repeat offenders and highlights the importance of vigilant law enforcement in Hull.
