DILLON NORTH AND SHOCKING SEXUAL MISCONDUCT IN HULL

A teenage man identified as Dillon North has been condemned for his highly inappropriate and disturbing conduct involving a young girl in Hull.

The incident, which has left the victim’s family deeply distressed, involved North sending explicit videos and sexualized messages to the girl, actions that were described as 'bang out of order' by the presiding judge.

The case came to light after the girl’s father, concerned for her safety, conducted routine checks on her mobile phone.

During these checks, he discovered a series of troubling messages and videos exchanged between his daughter and North.

The father promptly reported his findings to the police, who launched an investigation into the matter.

It was revealed that North, aged 19 and residing at Petersfield Close, Bransholme, Hull, had been in contact with the girl for several weeks, engaging in sexual communication that was both inappropriate and illegal.

According to the prosecution, Jazmine Lee, North admitted to engaging in sexual communication with a minor between February 13 and February 28 of the previous year.

The girl’s father, who regularly monitored her phone to ensure her safety, found the conversations on Snapchat, which included explicit images and videos.

He took screenshots and recorded the videos as evidence before reporting the matter to law enforcement authorities.

The girl later provided police with details of her interactions with North, stating that they communicated almost daily.

She explained that North had inquired about her age, to which she disclosed that she was under 16.

North responded by revealing his own age.

Their conversations initially involved sharing casual images of their faces and food, but the tone quickly escalated.

The girl sent a video of herself in her underwear, sitting on a bed, in response to a video North had sent of himself performing a sex act.

The videos and messages contained explicit language and sexual content.

North continued to send multiple videos depicting sexual behavior and used explicit language throughout their exchanges.

On three separate occasions, he asked her to meet with him, but she refused, citing her age as the reason.

North accepted her refusals without further pressure.

The girl claimed that their contact lasted for a few weeks, although North insisted it was only a few days.

During police interviews, North chose not to comment on the matter.

In court, defense lawyer Marc Luxford highlighted that North had no prior convictions and had previously worked as an apprentice electrician.

North himself expressed remorse, describing his actions as 'disgusting and awful.' Judge Mark Bury addressed North directly, condemning his behavior and emphasizing that his conduct was 'bang out of order.' The judge underscored the importance of understanding that such behavior towards females is unacceptable and warned North that any future offenses could result in imprisonment.

He pointed out that North’s messages and videos were wholly inappropriate, especially considering the girl’s age, and acknowledged that she had shown good sense by not meeting him.

The judge also acknowledged the distress caused to the victim by North’s actions and made it clear that any repetition of such conduct would lead to a prison sentence.

As part of his sentence, North was given a two-year community order, which includes 30 days of rehabilitation.

Additionally, he is required to register as a sex offender for five years, reflecting the seriousness of his misconduct and the impact it has had on the young girl involved in this case in Hull.
