PERVERT DEREK LEONARD JAILED FOR SADISTIC ABUSE OF YOUNG GIRL
The pervert, formerly of Hanford but now of no fixed address, was sentenced to 16 months in prison and placed on the Sex Offenders Register for 10 years after pleading guilty to several offences over a 10-year period.Police discovered the defendant had been repeatedly involved in sexually abusing a young girl, causing her to fall pregnant in one instance.
Despite his guilty plea, he only received a relatively short sentence but will remain under supervision for the foreseeable future.
The court heard the victim report only came after he appeared on StokeonTrentLive following previous convictions.
Court records show he was also found with numerous indecent images of children, including category A images of a girl as young as three performing sex acts, during a police raid on his home in Cobridge.
The judge described his conduct as "depraved and disgusting," and his actions have caused lasting trauma to the victims involved.
