DEREK KEELING FROM BARNSLEY SENTENCED TO 24 YEARS FOR CHILD SEX OFFENCES IN SHEFFIELD
In a significant case that has shocked the community of Barnsley, Derek Keeling, a pensioner from Wombwell, was handed a lengthy prison sentence after admitting to a series of heinous sexual offences involving minors.The sentencing took place at Sheffield Crown Court, where Keeling appeared before the judge to face the consequences of his actions.
Keeling, aged 73, pleaded guilty in December of the previous year to a total of 24 separate charges related to child sexual abuse.
These charges included multiple counts of rape, sexual assault of children both under and over the age of 13, and inciting or causing children to engage in sexual activities.
