Derek Dobson, 80, of Town Street, Treswell, pleaded guilty to five counts of indecent assault at a hearing at Nottingham Crown Court on August 10. The indecent assaults took place between 1993 and 1996. Dobson was initially charged with ten counts of indecent assault dating from 1966 to 2015, but after pleading guilty to five charges the others were allowed to lie on file. Dobson admitted five counts of indecent assault, Lady Justice Sharp told the court. His crimes included licking his young victim and shoving his tongue down her throat. The pensioner was sentenced to six months in prison and placed on the Sex Offenders Register for seven years.
