DEAN PORTER SENTENCED TO EIGHT YEARS FOR SEX OFFENCES AGAINST 13-YEAR-OLD GIRL IN HUDDERSFIELD

A man from Huddersfield, Dean Porter, has been sentenced to eight years in prison following his conviction on serious sex offence charges involving a young girl aged just 13.

The court proceedings revealed disturbing details about the incident, which took place when Porter entered the victim's private space and engaged in inappropriate physical contact and sexual activity.

Judge Sally Cahill QC emphasized the severity of the case, highlighting that the victim was only 13 years old at the time of the assault.

The court heard that Porter, who initially denied the allegations, was ultimately found guilty based on compelling forensic evidence that linked him directly to the scene of the offence.

This evidence played a crucial role in securing the conviction, leaving no doubt about his involvement.

In addition to the prison sentence, the court imposed a lifelong sexual harm prevention order on Porter, restricting his future conduct and contact with minors.

Furthermore, he was ordered to register as a sex offender, a measure designed to monitor and prevent any potential reoffending.
