    A man who changed his name to Carl Boswell and resides in Rhyl has been sentenced to prison after inflicting harm on a three-week-old baby. Dean Hodkinson, aged 21, received a sentence of two years and eight months for shaking and squeezing the infant, which resulted in serious brain and skeletal injuries. The court was told that the baby now faces significant disabilities and will need full-time care. Hodkinson, who was staying with the child's mother and grandmother at the time, denied causing harm but admitted to rough handling. The judge emphasized the long-lasting and damaging effects of the assault.
